Join Sun Prairie Utilities (SPU) in honoring Random Acts of Kindness Day (Feb. 17) by participating in our donation drive!
This year, we’re collecting donations that can be found in the average family’s pantry. SPU staff will give your donations to Sunshine Place on Friday, Feb. 13, and the community resource center will share the donations in its food pantry.
Please consider donating new, unopened:
- Canned chicken (5-12 oz.)
- Canned meals, like ravioli and Spaghetti-o’s (15-20 oz.)
- Canned tuna (5-12 oz.)
- Coffee (12-16 oz.)
- Cooking oil (24-32 oz.)
- Juice (48-64 oz.)
- Sugar (1 lb.)
Sun Prairie Utilities’ office is accepting donations from everyone - from residents and customers to families and individuals in neighboring communities. Donations will be accepted within the office hours of 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday at 510 Linnerud Dr.
The drive runs from the beginning of Monday, Feb. 2, to the end of Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
